Despite it's humble title, Dr. Gillett's debut is an interesting and refreshing record that manages to be both innovative and enjoyable, and should please critic and music lover alike. It is rich in texture and Romantic emotion with playful overtones, accessible enough for Gen-Xers and their grandparents to share.

Very melodic with intricate rhythms and a complex tonal pallet. Despite its unique avant-garde edge, I found the music still tonal and accessible. Definitely this composer and album will be in my top ten for 20th/21st century music!
