    Product Description

    For his debut CD, Dynamite Ham puts his versatility in high gear, playing over two dozen instruments in addition to lots of fun digital tweaking. The songs are all covers of songs by Frank Loesser ("Guys and Dolls," etc) and Dr. Frank of the legendary pop-punk band, The Mr T Experience. While Dynamite Ham doesn't do a lot of cross-pollination between genres within songs, the genres vary wildly from song to song. From honky-tonk to disco, bossa nova to klezmer, torch song to something we call "digitally enhanced auctioneering." Dynamite Ham's motto is "Fun sounds, serious craft." We promise the listener will not be bored; this CD is full of surprises. To our knowledge it's the first album ever to include theremin, pedal steel, musical saw, bass clarinet, glockenspiel, optigan, mbira, mandolin, accordion, banjo and washboard. The CD features cover art by the world famous comic book artist Geof Darrow ("The Matrix," "Hard Boiled" etc.) Geof's art is also featured on the disc itself which has been printed with a high-resolution thermal transfer process, creating a smooth image with rich blacks and greys like we've never seen before. And the first 500 discs are numbered!

        I don't know about you beautiful women out there in the world, but I think the "Music Sounds Better With You" with this awesome collection of [electronic] dance-grooves. I'm thinkin' that "You Don't Know Me," but you can rest-assure that I'm not that bad of a guy. It "Must Be The Music" that gets your motor running in the morning. All I have to say is "Get Up" and dance! Filtered: "The Best of Filtered" is where there's a little bit of "booty shakin'" goin' on! I'll "Sing It Back" to you, if you're nice and make this promise, that we'll get to see each other more often. Get on the "Groove Jet" and don't forget to buckle-up, 'cause it's gonna be a wild-ride. It's "My Feeling" that we're not supposed to be together anymore, so I would suggest we see other people, instead. No! I would never do such a thing, I'm just joking around with you. (LOL!) If you think I'm being serious, don't be afraid to talk to me about it. I'm sorry, if I hurt your feelings.

        After everything was said and done - the two of us - went about having fun at our dance. When the fun ended, we headed for home, popping this CD in our car listening to it well into the night. The very next day the "Sun Is Shining" brightly and we're still sitting in our car. We both fell-asleep under the stars - with the moon's light - casting this warm-glow to your pretty face. We were parked at the top of this hill, poking-fun at how neither one of us could dance. I know, "I Feel For you" it's not that I think you can't dance to these songs, it's that thing you do with your _______ that drives me nuts! You make me ... by the way you move to the funky-beats with this song. This beautiful world needs some "Big Love" to bringing peace & unity to all mankind. We're "Running" out of time, sweetheart...this dance ends at 12:00AM "Tonight." I can't believe it! "Is It really U" who made my heart skip-a-beat, when I spotted you on the football field, practicing some cheers for an upcoming game, back in our high school days? You gave me your phone#, with the high-hopes that I can get in touch with you. If "You Don't Call Me, Baby" I will be so dissapointed. I'd give you ***5-stars*** on any given day of week. Having said that, give me a cheer for this great album.

        awesome record-- starts strong and rolls, relentlessly, all the way through. One of the two or three best dj comps I've ever heard, and I've heard plenty. Guaranteed, 14 spring-in-your-step days for the first two weeks you own it (and plenty thereafter!).

        I WORKED IN A CLUB IN LONDON DURING 1998-99, AND THIS WAS THE SOUNDTRACK! EVERY SONG ON HERE JUST MAKES YOU WANT TO DANCE. IT'S GOT EVERYTHING FROM CAMPY HOUSE HITS TO RE-VAMPED 70'S GROOVES. ARMAND VAN HELDEN'S "U DON'T KNOW ME" AND STARDUSTS' "MUSIC SOUNDS BETTER WITH YOU" ARE NEW CLASSICS. ALSO, DID YOU KNOW STARDUST CONSISTED OF ONE OF THE GUYS FROM DAFT PUNK? I DIDN'T. NO WONDER IT'S SO GOOD! BUY IT, BUY IT, BUY IT.
