Editorial Reviews Originally recorded in Bogota in 1982, Canticas y Madrigales is a moving tribute to the great 20th Century Colombian composer Luis Antonio Escobar. The Americas Vocal Ensemble premiered his Canticas y Madrigales at the Americas Society in New York City and in Washington D.C.s Organization of American States in 1983 and since then these works have been an important part of its repertory.
