Album Description
Marga Richter's music has been played by more than fifty orchestras, including the Atlanta and Milwaukee Symphonies, Minnesota Orchestra and Buffalo Philharmonic, and recorded by the London Philharmonic, Seattle Symphony, and the Czech Radio Symphony. Among the artists who have performed her music are Jessye Norman; pianists Menahem Pressler, William Masselos and Natalie Hinderas; and violist Walter Trampler.

Cellist David Wells has performed with orchestras, trios and quartets around the world. Formerly head of the Chamber Music Department at the Manhattan School of Music, he is Professor of Cello and Ensemble at the Hartt School, University of Hartford; a faculty member at the New England Conservatory; and Founder/Artistic Director of the Yellow Barn Music Festival and School in Putney, Vermont.

Daniel Heifetz has appeared with leading American orchestras including the Philadelphia and Cleveland Orchestras and the Los Angeles Philharmonic and has been featured on CBS television, PBS, and NPR. Heifetz was a prizewinner in the Merriweather-Post Competition and the Sixth International Tschaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He teaches at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore.

A Michael Skelly has pursued a varied career in music both as soloist and accompanist, including many duo-piano performances with his mother, Marga Richter. In addition to this recording, he has recorded with the New Calliope Singers and guitarist Winslow Browning. He is on the piano faculty at Columbia University.
