Taylor, American Record Guide, July/August, 1988
The Verdehr Trio is the best of its kind.
Hoag's touches are right, and he paints a convincing picture.
Richard Gilbert, Discography III, Grenadilla Productions, review copy postmarked 03/20/1989
"Images" is a real find
percolates with inventiveness... a mysterious and strong, dynamic piece. Splendid performance... veritable tour-de-force
