Fine sound, exciting pieces.......1999-12-15
The sound is clean and clear - the piano rich, the strings very alive. The performances are startling. Copland's Piano quartet emerges with sustained force. The McKinley piece is quite interesting - the phrasing and melodies refreshing. Thanks MMC for introducing me to both Chumbley and McKinley!
