Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Interesting work.......2002-10-03

This work is a kind of modern music, and shows us a kind of ideal of communism. Each piece of the work originated from songs from previous Soviet. Schanzer, the composer, arranged them for quratet & a percussion. We can feel social realism in this work. The last piece 'Internationale' is my favorite one.
But..I can tell you.. plz do not compare this work with Shostakovich's or Prokofiev's..you know. They are qualified and the best communist composers. :)
Relax and just enjoy this one, and then you will be interested in this music.
