Ekphrasis might be my favorite Berio piece; it's the next phase after Continuo from the CSO disc that he shares with the Carter Partita and the Takemitsu pieces. Coro is also essential, but the recording is marred a little by being a live concert recording, a phenomenon that rarely does justice to the piece in question. Numerous coughs and other anomalies that are often unavoidable in that circumstance are quite prevalent and hard to ignore. Nevertheless, these are the only currently-available recordings of these pieces, and they are essential if you are so inclined.
