hardy's book "altered land" was one of the books that has changed my life.
the humanity in this book is so real, so rough as life.
i live in israel and dealing with consequenses of bombings everyday. and as a person who lives in such a reality i could only read this book and agree to every written word.
the characters' life are described in a way you'll feel as you are part of them too.
i could go on for ages, but tp sum up, this one of the only books that will make you more human after you've read it.
just read it!

Fabulous.......2003-10-02

This is the 2nd book I have read by Jules Hardy. Her debut novel Altered Land was the best book I read in 2002 and Mister Candid is my favourite novel for 2003. I have lent this to both my male and female friends and everyone thinks it is terrific.
Do yourself a favour a buy a copy.
